Der vierte September 2020 wäre unter normalen Umständen eigentlich mein Wettkampftag bei der World Butchers‘ Challenge in Sacramento gewesen – doch jetzt ist alles anders und die Challenge wurde verschoben.
Als eine von drei Azubis des Butcher Wolf Packs hätte ich mich dort den Anforderungen in der Challenge für Auszubildende gestellt und mein Programm zu meinem Motto präsentiert. Morgen wäre dann der große Tag für das Hauptteam und deren Präsentation.
Bereits im März wurde der Wettkampf auf den 13./ 14. August 2021 verlegt. Letzte Woche fand jedoch ein Meeting der Teamkapitäne und Organisatoren statt, in dem die weiteren Vorgehensweisen besprochen wurden, da es ja aufgrund der momentanen Situation für die Teams eher schwierig ist gemeinsam zu trainieren.
Leider weiß ich noch nichts genaueres über die weiteren Planungen/ Terminänderungen, ich bleibe aber auf jeden Fall dran – so eine Chance bekommt man nur einmal.
Postponed is not cancelled
4th of September 2020 would be under normal circumstances my challenge day at the World Butchers’ Challenge in Sacramento – but the Challenge is postponed now.
I am one of three apprentices of the Butcher Wolf Pack and would have presented my whole program for the theme of my choice. Tomorrow would be the great day for our main team and their presentation.
The challenge got already postponed in march to 13th/14th of August 2021. But last week was an other meeting of the team captains and members of the organizing-team to discuss how to go on, because it is not easy to get the whole team for a training session together, at the moment. I don’t know about the further plans/ date changes until now, but I will keep on – it’s a chance you get only once in your life.
