Heute war ich etwas in der Vorbereitung für den Verkauf tätig. Angefangen damit, dass mir mein Chef – Herr Scheller – gezeigt hat wie man die Bacon Bombs herstellt.
Zuerst alle Zutaten für die Masse abwiegen und alles vermischen, dann die Käsewürfel für die Füllung schneiden – naja einheitliche Würfel schneiden sollte ich vielleicht noch etwas üben 😉.
Was könntet Ihr euch denn gut als Füllung vorstellen – schreibts mir in die Kommentare?
Die fertig gerollten Bombs noch mit Speck ummanteln, marinieren, Käse Topping drauf und ab in den Ofen und dann fertig gebraten in den Laden.
Des Weiteren habe ich Putengeschnetzeltes geschnitten. Dieses habe ich dann mit einer Feigenmarinade und Zuckerschoten vermengt, in eine Schale gefüllt und auch in den Laden gegeben.
Nicht nur diese zwei Sachen gab es heute neu im Tresen sondern auch Torte. Momentmal Torte?! Ja, Ihr habt schon richtig gelesen – Torte geht nicht nur süß sondern auch herzhaft #fleischislife.
Immer mal wieder was neues, da hab ich eindeutig den richtigen Ausbildungsberuf und Betrieb: Fleischerei Scheller gewählt.
Also wem’s da langweilig wird der ist selbst schuld!
Bacon Bombs
I have prepared today some things for the display. First of all my boss – Mr. Scheller – showed me how to make the bacon bombs. Therefore, I weighed all the ingredients and mixed them together.
After this I had to cut cheese cubes as stuffing – okay, honestly I have to practise cutting cubes a little bit more 😉.

The last steps were now to wrap the bombs with bacon, marinate them and putting the cheese topping on. After a little while in the oven they got out in the shop for selling.
After I finished this, I went on to cut turkey stripes, mixing them with a fig marinade and snap peas – finished and out in the shop.
These two were not the only new things in the counter today, there was cake as well. Wait cake?! Yeah, you have read correctly – cake can be savoury too not only sweet #fleischislife.
I have chosen definitely the right job and shop: butcher shop Scheller to serve my apprenticeship, there is always new stuff to try out and do.
