Diese Woche habe ich eine besondere Aufgabe von meinem Vater bekommen.
Er hat mir sechs Fleischwürfel auf einer Platte vorgelegt und mir acht Zettel mit folgenden Begriffen:
- Rind
- Schwein
- Hirsch
- Pute
- Hähnchen
- Kaninchen
- Lamm
- Kalb
in die Hand gedrückt.
Ich sollte dann die Zettel zum jeweiligen Fleischwürfel zuordnen – Fleischmemory sozusagen. Am Anfang dachte ich „ist ja easy“ – wär’s vielleicht auch gewesen, wenn ich genauso viele Fleischwürfel wie Zettel gehabt hätte.
Da macht man sich dann erstmal Gedanken über Fleischfarbe, -struktur und -geruch. So einfach wie ich gedacht habe ist es auf jeden Fall nicht. Nicht alle Fleischwürfel waren auf Anhieb richtig zugeordnet und das obwohl ich mit allen Fleischarten schon einmal gearbeitet habe, beziehungsweise diese verarbeitet habe.

Meat memory game
I got a special job this week from my dad. He gave me a plate with six meat cubes and eight cards with the following terms:
- beef
- pork
- deer
- turkey
- chicken
- rabbit
- lamb
- veal
written on.
I had to match the cards to the meat cubes – a meat memory game, so to speak. I thought at the beginning „that’s easy“ – it would have been easy maybe if I had as much meat cubes as cards.
So I thought about the differences in meat colour, structure and scent. It’s not that easy like I thought at the beginning. I didn’t match all meat cubes right, at the first go though I have been working with all those meat types several times.
