Ich hab mir gedacht, dass ich auch mal einen kleinen Vergleich aufstellen könnte zwischen Land- und Stadtleben. Wie Ihr alle wisst bin ich ja auf dem Land aufgewachsen, genauer gesagt in Rittersbach, für meine Ausbildung wohne ich jedoch jetzt zumindest zeitweise in Hannover.
Das naheliegendste ist natürlich, dass man auf dem Land schneller in der Natur ist und die Ruhe dort genießen kann, wobei es in der Stadt auch schöne Parks gibt – vor allem der Maschsee und die Umgebung dort gefällt mir besonders.
In Hannover gibt es mehr Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und je nach dem wo man hin möchte sind die Wege kürzer, beziehungsweise mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Wobei ich sagen muss, dass wir in Rittersbach unter der Woche von 6 bis 18 Uhr eine sehr gute stündliche Busverbindung zum nächsten Bahnhof haben.
Ich schätze besonders am Leben auf dem Land, dass dort die Menschen viel gelassener sind als in der Stadt, dort herrscht meistens große Hektik und Gedrängel.
Woran kann man einen Dorfmenschen identifizieren?
Daran, dass er grüßt, wenn er jemandem auf der Straße begegnet. Das musste ich mir wirklich erst abgewöhnen, als ich in Hannover angekommen bin. So ganz hat das aber noch immer nicht funktioniert, wenn ich älteren Leuten auf dem Gehweg begegne grüße ich immer noch – oft zaubere ich damit ein Lächeln in deren Gesicht.
Ich bin also definitiv ein Landmadla und kein Citygirl. Die Stadt ist zwar ab und zu ganz schön und hat ihre Vorteile, aber so wirklich wohl fühle ich mich da auf die Dauer nicht. Mir sind da einfach zu viele Menschen unterwegs und es ist einfach nicht möglich einfach so geradeaus zu laufen ohne irgendwann irgendjemandem ausweichen zu müssen, damit man nicht umgerannt wird.
Countryside girl or city girl?
I thought it’s time to compare a little bit life in the countryside and city. I grew up in the countryside, in a village called Rittersbach, but I am living part time in Hannover now, to serve there my apprenticeship.
If you are living in the countryside you don’t have to go far to enjoy the nature, but there are lots of beautiful parks in the city as well – my favourite area in Hannover is at the Maschsee ( a lake in the city, with lots of trees and a path around).
To go shopping it’s better if you are living in the city, because there are various shops and it’s easy to get there by public transport. But, I have to say we are having a great public transport system in my home village during the week – there is a bus from 6am to 6pm every hour to the next train station.
The people which surround you are calm in the countryside, in the city they rush through the crowds.
How to identify someone who grew up in a village?
It’s easy to answer, we are greeting always if we meet somebody in the streets. I had to try to give it up since I live in Hannover. It didn’t work completely, I still greet lots of times people which I pass by on the pathway, especially if they are older people – sometimes it’s the reason their face expression is changing into a smile.
I am a countryside girl and not a city girl. I like it to be in the city from time to time and it has some advantages to live there, but to stay in the city for ever is inconceivable for me. In the city are too many people in my opinion and it is impossible to walk straight, without crossing somebody else’s way.
